NEW YORK – The Zoological Lighting Institute (ZLI) has announced that it will award four US$1,000 and eight US$500 grants in a variety of sustainable design and scientific fields in order to promote animal welfare and wildlife conservation matters relative to light and lighting.
An organisation working to ensure sustainable fashion design will receive one the four larger grants, while environmental studies is one of the areas selected to be awarded one of the eight smaller sums for research funding.
