HAMBURG - A project aimed at supporting smallholder cotton farmers in transitioning to organic cultivation to avoid the use of synthetic pesticides in Benin has been extended.

Launched three years ago, the €1 million ($1.06m) 'Growing Benin's Organic Cotton Sector' project helps farmers meet the requirements of the Cotton made in Africa (CmiA) Organic standard.
