SYDNEY – Cotton Australia has issues a warning of a possible "nightmare" spray drift season with incidents already being reported as ongoing wet weather results in an explosion of weeds.

Spray drift reports normally begin to filter through in December and January however farmers are said to be already facing an uphill battle to control weeds, while emerging cotton crops are also facing weed exposure because of the conditions.
