NEW YORK – Luxury fashion company Tapestry, which owns brands such as Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman, claims to have reduced its scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 84% this year against its 2021 baseline.
Scope 3 emissions - where the bulk of the industry's carbon footprint is found - reportedly fell by a more modest 17% against the 2021 baseline, but were slightly up on the previous year which the company said was due to increased business.
