WASHINGTON DC - US government agencies need to work together to tackle the environmental impacts from the growing problem of textile waste, according to a new report from a watchdog.

The US Government Accountability Office (GAO), US Congress's auditing body, also says one federal agency should be tasked with taking a lead on action to reduce textile waste and advance textile recycling.
