RIYADH - The United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification has published a new report aimed at raising awareness of the impact of the fashion and textile industry on land and how fibre choices have a major impact on the environment.
The report, ‘Fashion and Land: Unravelling the Environmental Impact of Fibres’, explores how the fashion industry plays a significant role in driving environmental change, particularly in relation to land use, soil health and land degradation.
