HAMBURG – The Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF) is linking up with blockchain technology specialist TextileGenesis to enhance traceability for fibre produced under its Cotton made in Africa (CmiA) programme.
AbTF will use TextileGenesis' Fibercoins technology to enable traceability of CmiA cotton from cotton bale to finished products - enabling brands to verify the origins of CmiA cotton, ensuring accurate sustainability claims.
