DANVILLE – The ongoing cooperation agreement between circular technology developer Circ and textile machinery specialist Andritz has taken a major step forward with the Austrian firm receiving an engineering order to design a manufacturing system for Circ’s first, large-scale textile recycling plant.
The order follows more than three years of join research and development work between the two companies aimed at developing Circ’s recycling technology, which recovers cotton and polyester from blended textile waste, and bringing it to commercial scale.
