GAZIPUR - Business leaders in Bangladesh have condemned the brutal beating of the deputy managing director of a garment factory as he reportedly tried to talk to protesting workers.
Rafee Mahmud, whose family owns Mahmud Jeans Ltd, of Gazipur, was attacked by workers who were blocking the road in a protest over unpaid wages, according to the country's Business Standard newspaper.
