NEWARK - More than 70% of the Better Buying Institute’s (BBI) 22 subscriber companies have improved their purchasing practices over the last 12 months, according to the organisation's latest Better Buying Purchasing Practices Index (BBPPI).
The BBI says some global brands and retailers showed notable improvements in their purchasing practices - although the overall 'soft goods' score increased by only one point on last year, up to 67 from 66.
