LONDON - Ultra fast fashion retailer Shein's work to tackle forced labour in its global supply chains falls "significantly short" of sector leaders - a red flag for investors ahead of the company's anticipated public listing in London, according to a new report.

The KnowTheChain programme, which benchmarks major companies across three sectors - apparel and footwear, food and beverage, and ICT - on human rights risks in their supply chains, assessed Shein's practices against its methodology.
