GUIMARÃES - A joint initiative made up of members from Spain’s and Portugal’s textile industry has unveiled a new closed-loop system for treating and reusing textile wastewater.
Developed by textile finishing specialist Jeanologia; AITEX, the Spanish Textile Industry Research Association; and Portuguese textile company Pizarro, the European Life Anhidra project claims it can regenerate up to 95% of the water used in textile washing and finishing processes, returning it in optimal condition for reuse.
