TASHKENT - Forced labour risks and other human rights concerns in Uzbekistan’s cotton sector remain high despite the abolition of state-imposed forced labour, according to a new report by human rights campaigners.

The study, from the Uzbek Forum for Human Rights, focuses on how German brands and retailers can best meet mandatory human rights due diligence requirements when sourcing cotton from Uzbekistan.
