RABAT - Trade unions are urging the Moroccan government to enter into talks with the International Accord for Health and Safety in the Textile and Garment Industry in the hope it will set up a worker safety programme in the country.

The IndustriALL global union and its local affiliate, Syndicat National de Textile Habillements et Cuirs (SNTHC-CDT), are highlighting safety concerns in Morocco's textile and garment factories following a spate of serious incidents.
