HONG KONG - The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) has launched its inaugural Open Lab Global Challenge, an international competition to encourage 'young innovators' to develop sustainable solutions for the fashion and textile sector.
The competition is inviting university-level students and high school students (age 15 or above) from around the world to ‘design for circularity’ in textiles and apparel with the aim of raising awareness of sustainability and encouraging the principles of circularity within the fashion industry.
