DHAKA - Workers, employers and the government have agreed to work towards “improved and harmonious” industrial relations in Bangladesh where ongoing protests continue to disrupt the country's key garment export industry.

Unrest at garment factories - which account for more than 80% of Bangladesh's exports - has become an ongoing feature since national protests toppled Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's government at the start of August.
