MILAN – Producing textile colorants derived from recycled clothing and second-hand fibrous materials is what one Italian textile chemical company claims to have done with its new range of finely powdered coloured cotton derived from textile waste. The company, based in Biella, says it is tapping into the decades of textile recycling expertise in the local textile sector to produce a novel answer to recyclable dyestuffs.
