HAMBURG – The Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF), which oversees Cotton made in Africa (CmiA) and the Good Cashmere Standard (GCS), has joined the Make the Label Count initiative to challenge the European Union's (EU) proposed Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (PEFCRs).
AbTF says it sees joining Make the Label Count, an alliance of natural fibre manufacturers, standards organisations and environmental groups, as a step towards promoting fair and transparent product sustainability claims.
