LONDON - Labour MPs have urged the UK government to introduce legislation equivalent to the US Uyghur Forced Labour Prevention Act (UFLPA) to prevent goods made with forced labour in the Xinjiang region of China from entering the country.
Blair McDougall and Marie Rimmer, both members of the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC), were speaking during a Westminster Hall debate on UK supply chains and Uyghur Muslim forced labour.
