TAIPEI - The US-based Transparentem NGO says it has uncovered serious forced labour risks involving migrants from Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines working at nine textile manufacturers in Taiwan.

Transparentem has released an interim report on its findings - with a full report to follow - which includes indicators of forced labor such as harsh living conditions and high recruitment fees to secure jobs.
