MUMBAI - The CottonConnect social enterprise has partnered with the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) on a formal partnership to promote ‘Kasturi Cotton’, India’s branded cotton.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) includes a commitment to increase awareness and production of Indian cotton under the Kasturi brand, which, launched in October 2023, offers premium Indian cotton that meets benchmarked standards and provides end-to-end traceability and certification using blockchain technology.
