DHAKA - The board of directors of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has been dissolved by the government and an administrator appointed until new elections are held.
A notice from the Ministry of Commerce said that Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) vice-chairman Anwar Hossain had been appointed administrator to hold a "free and fair election" within 120 days.
