KUALA LUMPUR - Migrant workers employed in Malaysia's garment industry are continuing to experience working conditions consistent with forced labour - despite efforts by brands to engage with their suppliers, according to new report.

The US-based Transparentem NGO first reported on concerns in 2022 after interviewing around 45 workers from Bangladesh, Nepal and Indonesia at three apparel manufacturers in Malaysia which supplied 10 brands and retailers.
