BRUSSELS - The Textiles Coalition group of environmental and worker rights campaigners have laid out the policy priorities they hope to see from the European Union (EU) to reduce the industry's impacts on sustainability.

The coalition says that although the EU's Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles, adopted in 2022, marked a significant step toward greater accountability in the sector, it fell short in ambition.
