John Mowbray

John Mowbray is the owner and founder of MCL News & Media and the brains behind Ecotextile News, which he launched back in 2006. His primary aim for MCL is to provide inspirational content that motivates key textile industry stakeholders to make a positive difference to their global supply chains, through innovative, sustainable and responsible sourcing policies and practices.

He is an award-winning Environmental Biology graduate from The University of Manchester, and since 1992 has become a well-known environmental journalist who has been quoted in national and international media outlets. He doubles up as an FA qualified soccer coach, a mountain bike enthusiast and a part-time builder.
