Six more apparel retailers, among them Tesco, Esprit, KappAhl, and New Look have joined the campaign of conservation NGO Canopy which is aimed at ending the use of ancient and endangered forests in rayon supply chains.

BEPI partners with Intertek on chemical management tool
After its recent launch of a new strategic initiative with the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) programme, the Business Environmental Performance Initiative (BEPI), has teamed up with Intertek to provide a new set of tools to help textile factories better manage chemicals in their supply chains.

Apparel sourcing at Texworld USA
Billed as the largest apparel sourcing event in North America, Texworld USA returns to New York this July.
Designers, merchandisers, sourcing professionals and garment buyers will have the opportunity to see apparel fabrics, trims and accessories for children's, women's and menswear, with showcased textiles including cotton, denim, linen and wool.
Texworld USA will be held 12-14 July 2016 at the Javits Convention Center, 655 West 34th Street, New York.
