ACCRA - The Or Foundation has committed $1 million to emergency relief efforts after a fire destroyed the Kantamanto used clothes market in Ghana - the world’s largest secondhand market.
The environmental organisation, which campaigns against exports of used clothing from the 'Global North' to Ghana and other African nations, is also calling on the fashion industry to help revitalise the market.
