Retailers plan closed-loop chemical recycling

Worn Again

H&M, Kering and UK-based Worn Again have teamed up to provide a new chemical-based textile-to-textile recycling system that extracts polyester and cotton from old clothing and blended textiles and uses them to make new fabrics in a closed loop system. The idea is to help bring the global textile industry much closer to a truly circular, closed-loop sourcing model. John Mowbray speaks to Nick Ryan of Worn Again.
