Each year around 75,000 MT of synthetic indigo is produced globally – and more than half of it is produced by one company: Wonderful Chemical Ltd, which is based in Hong Kong. In this exclusive interview, we managed to secure a very rare interview with media shy Shiu-Kee Wang, the owner of the HK-based company, which operates the huge Taifeng facility in Inner Mongolia. In the wide ranging interview he provides a deep insight into global denim manufacture and also what his company's plans are from an environmental perspective.
