HANOI - Swedish retailer H&M has become the first major global fashion brand to sign an agreement under a Vietnamese government scheme to encourage its suppliers in the country to switch to renewable energy sources, such as solar panels.
H&M has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with energy company Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2) under the government's Direct Power Purchase Agreements (DPPA) scheme.
