WASHINGTON DC - A 'Slow Fashion Caucus' has been established by politicians in the US Congress, in partnership with stakeholders including brand Patagonia and resale specialist ThredUp, in a bid to rein in the fast fashion industry.
Democrat Chellie Pingree is leading the initiative which aims to raise awareness of the impacts of fast fashion and craft climate-smart legislation to help the industry transition to a more sustainable future.
