AHMEDABAD – Indian textile manufacturer Arvind Limited has teamed up with circular solutions provider PurFi to establish a number of recycling facilities.

Over the next five years, as much as US$30.5 million is expected to be invested in production lines capable of sorting and repurposing material through a combination of mechanical and chemical recycling technologies.  

The first site is expected to be operational by the end of next year, and could manufacture as much as 5,500 tonnes of virgin-grade fibre.
