IZMIR - The Fair Labor Association (FLA) is calling for justice following the shooting of a trade union leader at a garment factory in the Turkish city of Izmir.
Makum Alagöz, president of the Leather Weaving and Textile Workers’ Union (DERITEKS), was shot at the Akar Textile factory which, according to its website, supplies fashion giants including H&M, Mango, Superdry and C&A.
