AMSTERDAM - The Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) has published an update on its plans to return to offering product-based environmental information to consumers.
The SAC's new annual report reveals that the organisation is consulting on this with its members, consumer authorities and other stakeholders as part of its ongoing Transparency Program.
It comes a year after the SAC suspended the use of data from the Higg Materials Sustainability Index (Higg MSI) on consumer-facing product labels after consumer watchdogs declared it illegal in Norway.
