NEW YORK - Gen Z consumers have been taking to social media to express concern over the fashion industry’s impact on the environment, from textile waste to pollution and CO2 emissions, a recent report has revealed.
AI-enabled consumer intelligence platform Ipsos Synthesio analysed 3.4 million fashion and sustainability online mentions in the US, UK, and France, and found that online conversations about fast fashion had increased by 52% over the last 12 months.
