GENEVA - Global trade unions IndustriAll and UNI are calling on garment and textile brands to sign the International Accord for Health and Safety in the Textile and Garment Industry to safeguard workers.
This comes ahead of the 10th anniversary of the Rana Plaza disaster and after the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) also urged brands to join the International Accord and the Pakistan Accord, earlier this week.
