BALTIMORE - Sportswear brand Under Armour has developed a new testing methodology which it says can be used to reduce microfibre shedding at source.
The company developed the test as part of its sustainability goal for 75 per cent of fabrics in its products to be made of low-shed materials by 2030.
Under Armour’s test method offers a simplified process to accurately measure a fabric’s propensity to shed fibres to support the creation of lower-shed products.
