STOCKHOLM - Swedish fashion giant H&M has signed an agreement with the IndustriALL global trade union movement to work with its suppliers to support the economic and social recovery of the industry from the COVID-19 crisis.
The agreement reaffirms H&M's commitments to responsible purchasing practices through stable orders, fulfilling agreed payment terms and by fostering conditions that allow suppliers to protect jobs and workers' wages.
It includes a commitment to respect freedom of association and collective bargaining rights throughout H&M’s global supply chain, and to promoting social dialogue to solve conflicts.
