GENEVA - The H&M Group has agreed with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) to co-operate on the ethical recruitment and protection of migrant workers in its global supply chains.
H&M Group’s head of sustainability Anna Gedda and Simo Kohonen, the head of IOM’s office in Finland, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement.
It aims to leverage the strengths, expertise and global footprint of both IOM and H&M Group to protect migrant workers and improve their recruitment, employment and livelihood opportunities.
