SAN FRANCISCO - Sustainable footwear brand Allbirds is expanding its product range with a selection of clothing including a T-shirt made with discarded crab shells, as well as woollen jumpers, cardigans and puffer jackets.
The brand, which had already added socks and underwear to its merino wool shoes, says the new additions will maintain the company's commitment to using sustainable materials.
Co-founder Tim Brown told journalists: “Does the world really need another T-shirt? The fashion industry doesn’t need another T-shirt unless it’s better.”
