VICTORIA – Australian Wool Innovation (AWI), an industry organisation, has published its Wool 2030 strategy which will inform stakeholders as they look to adopt sustainable best practices.
The strategy is underpinned by five pillars, which address animal welfare and the environment, marketing, consumer engagement, innovation, and enabling growth.
“Sustainability is a key attribute sought by today’s consumer, and Australian wool will continue to be promoted for its ‘natural’ advantages of being renewable, recyclable and biodegradable,” the organisation said.
