GENEVA - The International Labour Organisation (ILO) has developed a series of guides to held garment factories in Asia navigate the COVID-19 pandemic and build business resilience.
The six 'action-orientated' guides are respond to the urgent needs of the garment industry by helping manufacturers to face up to - and survive - the severe impacts of the coronavirus crisis.
They have been produced on six themes: managing cashflow, reducing costs, finding alternative sources of income, establishing an online presence, organising factories for safer and more efficient operations, and communicating with workers.
