DHAKA - The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the BRAC NGO on the prevention of gender-based violence and workplace harassment of garment workers.
The MoU aims to improve the awareness of both factory managers and workers on how best to prevent, report and take action against gender-based violence and workplace harassment in the country's factories.
