PARIS - Pili, the French manufacturer of bio-based dyes and pigments, has partnered with California-based denim brand Citizens of Humanity and Turkish denim mill Orta, to launch a denim collection dyed with Pili bio-based indigo.
Pili’s bio-based indigo is said to be the result of a unique processes that combines fermentation and organic chemistry to offer a high-performance, eco-friendly alternative to fossil-fuel based dyes.
