SEATTLE - US apparel and accessories wholesaler SanMar Corporation has become the first company to make its Better Buying purchasing practices scorecard publicly available.
Better Buying's Purchasing Practice Index details how companies are rated by their suppliers on specific purchasing practices in a bid to build a more resilient supply chain.
SanMar says it decided to share its scorecard, which is based on anonymous feedback from its suppliers and aggregated via Better Buying’s proprietary algorithm, in the interests of transparency.
