LONDON - Circular economy specialist Reconomy has unveiled a new framework to support the UK government’s restructuring of the country’s waste industry, with the textiles sector identified as one of the key resource streams.
The framework aims to create a consistent regulatory market within which textile producers and retailers can operate and mitigate the negative environmental impacts of waste, while also making it easier for consumers and industries to boost recycling rates and manage resources.
