LEEDS – Historic Yorkshire textile mill AW Hainsworth says it has achieved zero to landfill status following its work with waste management consultant Reconomy.
The 240-year-old heritage firm, which manufactures woollen fabrics for customers worldwide, used its partnership with Reconomy to track and measure its operations and develop a plan to hit ‘zero to landfill’ through a series of waste reduction and recycling initiatives.
