BRISTOL – Microfibre shedding is overlooked as a major issue in many biodiversity, climate and environmental pollution strategies, according to the Microfibre Consortium (TMC).

In a statement today, TMC says microfibre shedding - which it prefers to call "fibre fragmentation" - can no longer be seen as a standalone issue and must be addressed along with other major impacts.
