BRISTOL – The Microfibre Consortium (TMC) has published an update on progress towards its target of eliminating the environmental impact of fibre fragmentation from textiles by the end of the decade.
TMC's new report also includes the latest insights from global tests and research into microfibre pollution while making a new call for industry action to close data and knowledge gaps.
Launched in September 2021, TMC's Microfibre 2030 Commitment is a global framework that now has over 80 participants, including some of the world’s largest textile and apparel companies.
