OTTAWA - The Canada Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise (CORE) has closed its investigation of Hugo Boss Canada and its alleged links to Uyghur forced labour.
CORE’s final report followed an initial assessment, first published in August 2023, which prompted an investigation into the fashion brand’s supply relationships in China that were reputed to be using, or benefitting from, Uyghur forced labour.
